How to Use

  1. 1 Rinse the chips with clean water before use. For most home-gardening pots and grow bags, mix approximately 10–30% coco husk chips with potting mix, soil and compost. Use a higher proportion where extra drainage is required, or apply as a light surface mulch. For the 5 kg compressed block, add water gradually in a large tub until the chips loosen, then rinse and drain. Coco chips provide structure but little nutrition, so add suitable compost or fertilizer.
