How to Use
- 1 Loosen or lightly water the soil first if it is dry and compacted, so the planter cuts in cleanly.
- 2 Place the serrated edge where you want to plant and press the planter straight down to the depth your bulb or seedling needs.
- 3 Twist slightly and lift the planter out with the soil core held inside the cylinder.
- 4 Place the bulb (pointed end up) or seedling root ball in the hole.
- 5 Hold the planter over the hole and open the side latch to release the soil plug, then firm the soil gently and water.
- 6 Knock off remaining soil, wipe the tool dry and store it in a dry place.
Plant bulbs, seedlings and small nursery plants faster with this stainless steel bulb planter and seedling transplanter. Push the serrated cylinder into prepared soil, twist, and lift out a neat, even plug of soil – leaving a clean planting hole for tulip, onion, garlic, lily and other bulbs, or for moving seedlings with their root ball intact.

Place the bulb or seedling in the hole, then release the soil plug back on top and firm gently. Clean off soil and dry the tool after use.
