About Eggplant
Eggplant or brinjal (Solanum melongena) is a warm-season crop grown in many shapes, sizes, and colours. It performs well in beds and large containers when given warmth, sunlight, fertile soil, and steady moisture.
When to Plant in Pakistan
In many plains, seed can be started from late winter through spring and again before or during a suitable monsoon window. In cooler areas, wait until nights remain warm. Protect young plants from frost, waterlogging, and extreme heat.
