How To Grow

Surface sow Begonia seeds on moist seed-starting mix — seeds are dust-fine, do NOT cover with soil. Light is essential for germination. Keep at 18–22°C; germination in 14–21 days. Begonia seedlings are tiny and slow-growing — be patient for the first 6–8 weeks. Transplant when large enough to handle, spacing 8–12 inches apart. Begonia petals have a refreshing citrusy-sour flavour excellent in salads and as garnishes. Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade in Pakistan’s hot summers.
