French Marigold Mix Hybrid Seeds – Compact, Colorful Blooms

French Marigold Mix (Tagetes patula) is the compact, dwarf cousin of the African marigold and Pakistan's most versatile marigold for small spaces. Sow seeds at ¼ inch (0.5 cm) deep in well-draining soil. Germination is fast — just 5–10 days at 20–25°C. Once seedlings have 3 true leaves, transplant 6–10 inches apart in full sun. Plants stay compact (6–12 inches tall) and produce non-stop bicolor blooms in yellow, orange, red, and mahogany. French marigolds are renowned as natural pest deterrents — interplant them with tomatoes, peppers, and brinjal to repel nematodes, whiteflies, and aphids. Unlike Americana types, French marigolds thrive in two seasons: sow February–April for spring/summer blooms or September–November for fall/winter color.
