How To Grow

Sow Gypsophila seeds shallowly (1/8 inch) in well-drained soil. Avoid heavy clay or wet conditions. Keep moist for 10–14 days at 18–22°C until germination. Thin to 12–18 inches apart. Gypsophila prefers alkaline soil (pH 7.0–7.5) — add a pinch of lime in acidic soils. Once established, water sparingly. Cut stems just as flowers begin to open for the longest vase life.
