How To Grow

Sow Marigold Americana Yellow F1 Hybrid seeds at ¼ inch (0.5 cm) deep in well-draining soil enriched with compost. Germination occurs in 7–12 days at 20–25°C. Once seedlings have 3–4 true leaves, transplant 10–14 inches apart in full sun (5–6 hours daily). Plants grow 10–14 inches tall and produce large, fully double, bright yellow blooms (7–10 cm). The cheerful yellow color works beautifully for borders, container gardens, and contrast plantings with orange or red marigolds. Feed with balanced NPK every 2–3 weeks, water at the base, and remove spent flowers regularly to encourage continuous blooming.
