Seeds quantity may vary — could be more or less than stated. Open carefully to avoid losing seeds. Store away from direct sunlight and moisture until ready to plant.
Growing Tip
Place a flat board or tile under developing fruits — the flat ribbed shape sits directly on soil, which can cause uneven colouring and rot. Harvest when fully tan-grey and the stem is completely corky and dry.

How To Grow

Sow Muscade de Provence seeds 1 inch deep directly in warm fertile soil. Germination in 7—14 days at 22–28°C. Space 4–5 feet apart. Muscade de Provence (Muscat of Provence) is a large, flat, deeply ribbed French heirloom of 5–10 kg with tan-grey-brown skin and exceptionally fine-grained, sweet, nutty orange flesh. The name means ‘nutmeg of Provence’ — a nod to its subtle aromatic sweetness. Harvest when skin turns fully tan with a dry corky stem.
