Sow Ananas Tomato seeds 1/4 inch deep in moist seed-starting mix. Keep at 22–28Β°C for 7–14 days until germination. Transplant when seedlings have 4–6 true leaves, spacing 24–30 inches apart. Stake very firmly β€” Ananas is a large indeterminate vine with heavy fruits of 300–600g. The distinctive bicolour fruits have golden-yellow skin with red marbling inside and a uniquely complex sweet-tropical flavour reminiscent of pineapple.
