How To Grow

Sow De Colgar Tomato seeds 1/4 inch deep in moist seed-starting mix. Keep at 22–28°C for 7–14 days until germination. Transplant when seedlings have 4–6 true leaves, spacing 24 inches apart. De Colgar (‘for hanging’) is a traditional Spanish heirloom designed to be harvested in whole clusters and hung in a cool, dry place — where fruits continue to ripen slowly and can keep for 3–6 months. Small-medium fruits with thin skin and sweet concentrated flavour. An ancient natural preservation method.
