How To Grow

Soak Loki seeds 24 hours in warm water before sowing — the hard coat softens and germination improves significantly. Sow 1/2 inch deep directly in warm fertile soil. Germination in 7—14 days at 25–30°C. Provide a very strong trellis, pergola, or overhead support — Loki vines grow vigorously and the large heavy fruits need support. Space 24–30 inches apart. Harvest fruits at 25–40 cm while still pale green and smooth-skinned.
