How To Grow

Surface sow Giant Pink Pampas Grass seeds on moist, well-drained seed-starting mix — do NOT cover, light is required for germination. Mist gently and keep at 20–25°C for 2–4 weeks until germination. Transplant seedlings when they reach 4–6 inches tall, spacing 4–5 feet apart at final planting. Giant Pink produces particularly large blush-pink to rose-coloured plumes on tall, imposing clumps — the most romantic and visually striking of the pampas grasses. Plumes appear in years 2–3 and persist beautifully as dried arrangements.
