How To Grow

Sow Mixed Pampas Grass seeds on the surface of moist, well-drained seed-starting mix — do NOT cover, as light is required for germination. Mist gently and keep at 20–25°C for 2–4 weeks until germination. Transplant seedlings when they reach 4–6 inches tall, spacing 3–5 feet apart. Pampas Grass is slow from seed — expect 2–3 years before plumes appear. In the first season plants focus on root and leaf development. The mixed blend produces golden, silvery-blue, pink, and white plumes in the same planting.
