Extend your cut-flower season with ProCut® Bravo F1 Hybrid Sunflower Seeds (Helianthus annuus). Bravo is the strong, vigorous addition to the ProCut family — large, upright orange flowers with a dark face, on a single strong stem. It flowers a few days later than other ProCut varieties, making it ideal for staggered harvests and continuous bouquet production.
Why You'll Love ProCut Bravo
- Large, upright orange flowers with a contrasting dark face
- Vigorous growth and exceptional plant strength
- Single-stem habit — one perfect flower per plant, no branching
- Pollenless — clean for vases, no yellow dust
- Medium maturity (55–60 days) — flowers slightly later than other ProCuts for staggered harvest
- Performs well in all growing regions
- Tall 4–6 ft (120–180 cm) stems with excellent vase life
- F1 hybrid — uniform height, flower size, and bloom timing
Growing in Pakistan
ProCut Bravo is a warm-season annual that grows well across Pakistan with succession planting. Sow February to April in plain regions (Punjab, Sindh) for spring-to-summer blooms, and September to October for autumn flowers. In cooler northern hill areas, sow April to June for summer flowering. Direct-sow seeds 1/2 inch deep in well-drained, sunny soil. Space plants 15–20 cm apart in-row — close spacing produces the smaller, florist-style heads that fit a bouquet. Germination takes 7–10 days at 20–25°C. Water consistently and harvest stems when the first ray petals are perpendicular to the disk. Pair Bravo plantings with earlier ProCuts (Orange DMR, Brilliance) for continuous harvest.
