Combine vivid colour with disease protection in ProCut BiColor DMR F1 Hybrid Sunflower Seeds (Helianthus annuus). This single-stem hybrid pairs bold red-orange and yellow bicolour petals around a dramatic dark face — plus the breakthrough of Downy Mildew Resistance (DMR), making it the safest bicolour choice for fields and gardens that have struggled with the disease.
Why You'll Love ProCut BiColor DMR
- Vivid red-orange to yellow bicolour petals with a dramatic dark face
- Downy Mildew Resistant — perfect for areas with past disease problems
- Single-stem habit — one perfect flower per plant, no branching, no pinching
- Pollenless — clean for vases, no yellow dust on tables or fabrics
- Medium maturity (50–55 days) — one of the fastest ProCut varieties
- F1 hybrid — uniform height, flower size, and bloom window across the planting
- Tall 4–6 ft (120–180 cm) stems with excellent vase life
- Adjust plant density to dial in the head size you want
Growing in Pakistan
ProCut BiColor DMR is a warm-season annual that grows well across Pakistan with succession planting. Sow February to April in plain regions (Punjab, Sindh) for spring-to-summer blooms, and September to October for autumn flowers. In cooler northern hill areas, sow April to June for summer flowering. Direct-sow seeds 1/2 inch deep in well-drained, sunny soil. Space plants 15–20 cm apart in-row for the smaller, florist-style heads that fit a bouquet. Germination takes 7–10 days at 20–25°C. Water consistently and harvest stems when the first ray petals are perpendicular to the disk. For continuous supply, succession-sow every 7–14 days.
