SHOP NOWGrow Pakistan's most reliable orange cut-flower sunflower with ProCut Orange DMR F1 Hybrid Sunflower Seeds (Helianthus annuus). Bred for professional cut-flower growers, this single-stem F1 hybrid is the industry standard for orange ProCut sunflowers — with the added breakthrough of Downy Mildew Resistance (DMR), making it the safest choice for fields and gardens that have struggled with the disease.
Why You'll Love ProCut Orange DMR
- Bright, true-orange petals with a striking dark face — the classic florist sunflower look
- Downy Mildew Resistant — perfect for areas with past disease problems
- Single-stem habit — one perfect flower per plant, no branching, no thinning
- Pollenless — no yellow dust on tables, hands, or other flowers
- Early maturity (50–60 days) — fast turnover for cut-flower production
- F1 hybrid — uniform height, timing, and flower size across the whole planting
- Strong, straight 4–6 ft (120–180 cm) stems with excellent vase life
- Ideal for ProCut bouquets, bunches, and single-stem arrangements
Growing in Pakistan
ProCut Orange DMR is a warm-season annual that grows well across Pakistan with succession planting. Sow February to April in plain regions (Punjab, Sindh) for spring-to-summer blooms, and September to October for autumn flowers. In cooler northern hill areas, sow April to June for summer flowering. Direct-sow seeds 1/2 inch deep in well-drained, sunny soil. Space plants 15–20 cm apart in-row — close spacing is the secret to producing the smaller, florist-style heads that fit a bouquet. Germination takes 7–10 days at 20–25°C. Water consistently and harvest stems when the first ray petals are perpendicular to the disk. For continuous supply, sow every 7–14 days.
