Heirloom Tomato Seeds – OX Heart - Giant Beefsteak

Grow Heirloom OX Heart Tomato — one of the most impressive and uniquely shaped heirloom tomatoes, producing very large heart-shaped fruits of 300g–1kg+ with a distinctive pointed tip and deeply ridged surface. Dense, meaty flesh with very few seeds and a rich, full tomato flavour. A spectacular show-stopper for salads, slicing, and fresh eating. How To Grow

Sow OX Heart Tomato seeds 1/4 inch deep in moist seed-starting mix. Keep at 22–28°C for 7–14 days. Start indoors 6–8 weeks before transplanting. Transplant when seedlings have 4–6 true leaves, spacing 24–30 inches apart. Stake very firmly — OX Heart is an indeterminate vine producing exceptionally large, heart-shaped fruits of 300g–1kg+. The fruits taper to a distinct point and are deeply ribbed — the classic ‘Coeur de Boeuf’ (Beef Heart) shape. Meaty flesh with very few seeds and excellent rich flavour.
